We are honoured to host Donna Buck as an Artist in Residence at our CBD Practice. We have a number of Donna’s paintings that grace our walls, although being very popular with visitors to our Practice new ones are often needed to replace those finding new homes. Donna’s stunning abstract work and her map series with Newcastle as her muse are crowd favourites. It also helps that Donna has such an easy-going temperament, making commission based work and the commercial side of art a pleasure.

“We first became aware of your paintings through Newcastle Grammar School. Since then we have two of your paintings. However we had another wall vacant and believed another of your paintings would complement our downstairs living area. We invited you into our home to better understand who we are and our home. Looking at a view of the lake from our upstairs and downstairs rooms. You took time to have a cuppa, a chat and you really captured us and what we were looking for. The colours of the sky and the abstract of the lake and the homes in our view are exactly what we look at every day. You indeed captured us and our home. The painting is hanging in pride place at the bottom of the stairs as you walk down and look out the front window onto Lake Macquarie. Thanking you for your time and effort.”
